Behind the Blogger

Hi, everyone! I’m Sara – and welcome to my website! I created this blog in May of 2016 on a slow day at work. On that day, I had literally no idea what I was going to write about. I followed a lot of fashion bloggers, and although that is something I am definitely interested in, I didn’t want to follow that path. So I just began writing, and with every post I created, I noticed that I was attempting to be persuasive. I wanted to prove a point to my readers, to convince them of something. Advice blogging came naturally.

By age 23, I have traveled to ten countries and nineteen states. I have earned three Bachelor’s degrees, and plan to continue my education. I have had some impressive jobs; working for law firms, courthouses, lobbying firms, and political campaigns… and some not-so-impressive jobs; working as a  Walmart cashier and a literal carnie at the largest New England state fair. I have gotten four tattoos. I have fostered a relationship with Jesus Christ. I have spent way too much money on things I don’t need. I have probably set a record for most Reese’s consumed in one lifetime. I have had my heart broken (more like ripped out and shattered, but we’ll stick with ‘broken’ for now), and I have broken the hearts of others. I have redefined who I am as a person one thousand times – and I will continue to do so. Feel free to come along for the ride.

In addition to my website, I am extremely active on Instagram, Tumblr, and VSCO. You can find links to these platforms by clicking my Contact & Follow page to your left.
